Vanscapes is an event which will take a journey through the songs of Van Morrison.

George Best House will be opening it's doors for this year's European Heritage Open Days in September. This is the 20th year that Northern Ireland has taken part in European Heritage Days.

Many of the properties, like the George Best House, are not normally open to the public so this really is a chance to explore places that you haven't before.

On Sunday 17th September the EastSide Market will return to C.S. Lewis Square

There will be lots of food, craft and local produce stalls including cold brew coffee, knitted goods, handmade jewellery, artisan baking and much much more!

EastSide Learning will be holding a “Giving Library” at the Festival Fun Day during EastSide Arts Festival on 5th August and need your lightly used children’s books to stock the library of free books.

Woodstock Rhythm & Blues Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2017.

The headline act this year is Dana Masters & Her Band in The Black Box and lots of festival favourites will return this year including Ronnie Greer, Anthony Toner, Grainne Duffy, Pat McManus & many more.

As part of 'Living the Green Way' in June, the Connswater Community Greenway launched a new walking map which highlights a number of picturesque walks along the Greenway aimed at improving health and wellbeing. 

A subgroup of the Inner East Neighbourhood Partnership has been focusing on tackling poverty in east Belfast and are currently working on the School Uniform Recycling initiative with EastSide Arts Festival.

If you have children that are moving to a new school or who are growing fast we would love to take any unwanted school uniforms (in good condition) off your hands and find them a new home. 

Come and join EastSide Arts us for their regular monthly Friday night gig at the EastSide Visitor Centre, featuring singer Cormac Neeson (The Answer) and guitarist Andy Toman (Unholy Gospel Band). Cormac and Andy will play acoustic covers of some of Cormac's favourite songs with a couple of originals from The Answer and his own songs thrown in there for good measure. 

Three excellent, young EastSide Emerging performers will warm up for Cormac and Andy.

EastSide Arts is currently seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern to support the marketing and communication of the EastSide Arts programme (July to January) with particular focus on the EastSide Arts Festival and C.S. Lewis Festival.

If you are living or working in an early years or after schools setting you may be entitled to a bursary of up to £1000, to help you attain your City and Guild Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children’s Care Learning & Development or the City and Guilds Level 5 Diploma in Play Work. 

The bursaries are being supported by the Executive Office's Social Investment Fund.
