Join the Avoniel Community Gardeners on Wednesday 22nd November, 1-4pm and help them put the garden to bed for the Winter.

The Winter Wrap-Up will include a community clean up and a tidy up of the flower beds.

Refreshments will be provided. All welcome.

From 18th - 22nd November the fifth annual C.S. Lewis Festival will celebrate the impact and legacy of one of the world’s literary greats - C.S. Lewis. At this year’s festival everyone is invited to be ‘Surprised by Joy,’ a theme taken from C.S. Lewis’s works of the same name.

The Royal Town Planning Institute's (RSUA) independent panel of judges have selected 10 great places from across Northern Ireland shaped by planning and planners, from over 50 nominations.

We're delighted to say that Connswater Community Greenway has been shortlisted as one of those 10 great places. We're honoured to be nominated alongside other great places like The Mournes and The Giants Causeway, especially as the project was only completed this year. 

Connswater Community Greenway in partnership with Netball NI are holding a number of netball sessions in Avoniel Leisure Centre on Tuesday evenings, 7-8pm through until November.

Come along, learn a new skill or re-love your favourite school sport! You don't need to register beforehand, you can do it on arrival.

EastSide Arts has confirmed that the 5th annual C.S. Lewis Festival will take place 18th- 22nd November in a variety of locations #EastSide

On Thursday 14th September the Connswater Community Greenway will officially celebrate the completion of Phase 2 by inviting everyone who has been part of the Greenway journey to walk, run, hop, skate or cycle the route and join together on C.S. Connswater Community Greenway are hosting a Mini Sports Day event for everyone to enjoy before going back to school! 

The next Connswater Community Greenway Stakeholder Forum will be held 12pm, Friday 8th September in the EastSide Visitor Centre.

This will be an opportunity to hear more about the Greenway and share your thoughts and ideas on the development of the project.

EastSide Learning are hosting their first Family Fun Literacy Day at C.S. Lewis Square, Tuesday 22nd August 10am - 3pm.

Spend a fun filled afternoon with the entire family, where your children can get involved with our many activities designed to encourage literacy and promote enjoyable learning.

Connswater Community Greenway is holding the second Netball taster session at Loop River Multi- Use Games Area (MUGA) on the 16th August with Netball Northern Ireland.

Whether you've never played before, or haven't played since school book your FREE place and have a laugh during this 1 hour session

Suitable for aged 12 and up.
