The Home Project 2: Food for Thought showcase will take place on Friday 9th February in St Martin's Church.

The Home Project is an intercultural arts programme which has been  exploring the theme of food and its role in different communities in east Belfast. The project is a collaboration between EastSide Arts and intercultural theatre company Terra Nova Productions.

We are delighted that two EastSide Partnership projects won at the recent Eastside Awards!

EastSide Arts won the Contribution to the Arts award and EastSide Visitor Centre/ C.S. Lewis Square won the Tourism award.

Congratulations to all the finalists and to the guys at Eastside Awards for organising a great event!

The February EastSide Sessions features No Horns, a jazz trio based in Belfast. They enjoy performing their exciting arrangements of jazz standards which feature the beautiful guitar work of Mateusz Chmielewski with the rhythm section of Jack Kelly (Bass Fiddle) and Ben Flavelle-Cobain (Drums).

They have previously played at EastSide Visitor Centre during the first Jazz @ JACK event in December and got a great response from the captive audience.

We have been able to deliver a number of projects locally over the last year with support from the Urban Villages Iniative.

We are delighted that two EastSide Partnership projects are finalists at the Eastside Awards.

EastSide Arts is a finalist in the Contribution to the Arts category and EastSide Visitor Centre/ C.S. Lewis Square in the Tourism category.

We are looking forward to the award gala celebration on Thursday 25th January in Stormont Hotel.

Laura will share photographs and describe the streets of two-up-two-down terraces, imagining the lives and times of the men who lived there in the days of the shipyards.

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
