We are delighted to have Brigid O'Neill perform at the June EastSide Session in EastSide Visitor Centre.

“Brigid is a great songwriter with a voice that can break your heart at 30 paces.” - Ralph McLean BBC Radio Ulster.

Described as “a little bit of Mary Black and Cara Dillon, with some Emmylou Harris with Alison Krauss thrown in”, Co. Down singer songwriter Brigid's star has been steadily in the ascent since the release of her debut EP Arrivals and Departures, followed by the insistently catchy single ‘Don’t Make me Go to Town’.

You may have noticed two new pieces of street art around the Newtownards Road. These were installed as part of our EastSide Urban Gallery project funded by the Urban Villages Initiative. The Urban Gallery project aims to transform places and spaces using art and creativity and to contribute to Belfast’s growing street and public art offering for residents and visitors to enjoy.
