With schools out for the summer the last thing parents want to hear is "I'm bored"! There's no chance of that with EastSide's range of family-friendly activities taking place throughout summer.

From fun days on C.S. Lewis Square to drama workshops, there's no shortage of things to keep the whole family entertained.

Join us with your four-legged friends at Victoria Park for Doga (dog yoga), a special type of yoga practice, which promises to leave both owner and pooch in a zen-like state.

A Doga session is an innovative and fun form of yoga practice that encourages you to bond with your dog, while taking the classic downward dog pose to new heights.

The session will last for just over an hour and comprise of various meditation, breathing, stretching and gentle massage techniques, helping guests and their dogs to relax while spending quality time together.

The EastSide Partnership offices at Avalon House, 278-280 Newtownards Rd, will be closed on Friday 12th July and Monday 15th July.

The Royal Society of Ulster Architects (RSUA), JP Corry, and the Department for Communities (DfC) joined forces with EastSide Partnership to launch a temporary pavilion at C.S. Lewis Square called “Built:East”.  The structure – which takes inspiration from the Belfast Truss roof – celebrates the city’s industrial legacy and will provide a year-round public space for outdoor leisure and recreation.

Celebrate Bastille Day with EastSide Partnership! On 14th July we are proud to host a number of exciting events to celebrate all things Français.

From the 1st-11th August places and spaces across east Belfast will transform into hubs of creativity and diversity for the annual EastSide Arts Festival. Supported by Arts Council of Northern Ireland, this year’s exciting programme is filled with glorious new experiences, amazing and inspiring activities which are open for everyone to enjoy.

The Scaffolding Project are once again seeking quality pieces of pre-loved school uniform for this summer's  'Recycle School Uniform' campaign, now in its 3rd year!

Join Mark Smith from Northern Ireland Swift Group and our local Greenway Leaders to discover the life of our local Swifts.

Pick up top tips on how you can identify these incredible birds, learn about their life and how you can help reduce the decline of this wonderful bird in East Belfast.

There will be a one hour talk followed by a short walk to watch the evening display of swifts and see them dropping in to their nests as darkness falls.

Join us for a Summer Roller Disco in C.S. Lewis Square with WigWam Roller Rink!
On the 14th of this month whizz your way around the Square to music with DJ Dave Ralston.
This is a family friendly event that all ages can enjoy.Equipment will be provided and all skating abilities are welcome. There will be two sessions, both lasting one hour.
