16 Burren Way in the Cregagh Estate is the childhood home of footballing legend George Best. Participants will have the chance to receive training in how to research people of interest from the past. We will use the information gathered to create a trail around east Belfast where visitors and locals alike can find out more about who used to live here and what their lives were like.

We are especially interested in helping research stories about ordinary people who represent a way of life that will soon be forgotten.

Registration is now open for our EastSide Learning GCSE Easter School at Skainos.

GCSE Easter Revision classes will be taking place at Skainos Centre from Tuesday 23rd April to Friday 26th April. 10:00am-2:30pm
