Come along to Orangefield Park on Saturday 25th January for a fun filled event and learn more about our native birds on the Connswater Community Greenway.

- Educational Talks and Displays - Bird Watching - Arts and Crafts - Promotional Stalls - Face Painting - Refreshments
The event will take place at Orangefield Park bowling pavilion and surrounding area and is delivered in by EastSide Greenways in partnership with Bloomfield Wildlife Watch and Belfast City Council.
Connswater Community Greenway has scooped three major awards at two high profile ceremonies held in London, reaffirming its status as a ‘Living Landmark.’ The awards from The Academy of Urbanism and Landscape Institute recognised the tremendous work the project has achieved in connecting people, place and nature in a revitalised urban space as well encouraging civic pride and community engagement.
The play park at Flora Street Walkway will be closed from tomorrow for approximately 1 to 2 weeks to carry out essential maintenance works including the installation of a new piece of play equipment and surface.
Please do not access the site while these works are being carried out. The works are also weather dependent and may take slightly longer than expected.

Connswater Community Greenway (CCG) was voted as the best place in the UK and Ireland at the 2020 Urbanism Awards. The CCG fought off strong competition from fellow finalists Old Market Square in Nottingham and Seaburn in Sunderland. Michele Bryans, EastSide Greenways Manager collected the award at a ceremony in London.
The EastSide Choir invites you to come along to thier special Christmas Cabaret where they will be joined by friends from Women Aloud NI as well as singer songwriter Lucy Bell and special guest Anthony Toner for an evening of festive entertainment.
This event is free but donations are welcome at the door and all proceeds will go towards the EastSide Choir.

Detailed designs for environmental and cycling infrastructure improvements along the Ballymacarrett Walkway stretch of the Comber Greenway (to be delivered in 2020) will be available to view at public information sessions in November.
