Some of the staff team are taking part in this year's Belfast Marathon Relay to raise money to purchase a defibrillator to be installed at C.S. Lewis Square.
 
The EastSide Property board recently enjoyed a meal together to say thanks and farewell to long-standing board member James Brown.
 
James has been a long-time supporter of our work at EastSide Partnership. He was a member of the EastSide Partnership board from 2001 until 2014. He was also on the EastSide Property board from 2005 and became Chair in 2007, a role which he stepped down from in recent years.
 

EastSide Arts are seeking a freelance Youth Programmer aged 18-25 to work with our Festival Director and wider team in an exciting new initiative to programme events by and for young people.

Launching its 11th programme in 2023, the EastSide Arts Festival showcases the best of the arts in east Belfast, from concerts and cabaret, to talks and tours. Our Youth Programmer will become an important addition to the 2023 festival team, offering insight and guidance on how to create events that get people excited, sell out venues, and makes their mark in the east.

The annual EastSide Learning Reading Fair will take place on Friday 10th March, 1pm - 5pm at Skainos Centre.
 
Come along and join in on a day full of fun activities and learning. Some of the activities this year will include:
  • Giving Library – pick up a free book of your choice
  • Advice on Phonics & Literacy activities
  • Storytelling
  • Song & Rhyme
  • Story themed Arts & Crafts
  • Ipad animation station
 

EastSide Arts, part of EastSide Partnership, is delighted to have been awarded £317,000 funding from Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s Arts Access and Participation Fund to support a new research and engagement programme in east Belfast entitled ‘Creative Citizens’.

EastSide Arts contributes to the regeneration aims of EastSide Partnership with a vision of east Belfast as a thriving cultural hub; where the arts are valued, creativity is for everyone and people are connected with each other and the wider world. EastSide Arts strive to make east Belfast a better place through creativity and the arts.

Join EastSide Greenways this February for the annual Love Your Greenway programme, a week-long campaign, celebrating why we love the Connswater Communty Greenway.

There will be a range of events and activities taking place from Monday 13th - Sunday 19th February including: 

Free, weekly GCSE English and Maths revision classes will take place in Doyle Youth Club throughout February and March (see schedule below).
 
Resources, past papers and refreshments will be available.

EastSide Greenways have launched a brand-new Personal Youth Development programme, called ‘The Legacy Project’. This exciting project is designed for a small group of young people from East Belfast, aged between 16-25years old who are not in education or unemployment.

Their aim is to help build and develop essential life skills, provide support with achieving qualifications & training, and open the doors to exciting employment opportunities!
