The Heritage Space at Templemore Baths is the only remaining public baths on the island of Ireland and lots of original Victorian features of the building have been preserved including the slipper baths, ticket office and architectural features.

The building, which has been at the heart of the community for 130 years, tells the stories of those who have used the space for work, leisure and hygiene.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Project Officer to join the EastSide Greenways team. The main purpose of the role will be to:

  • support the EastSide Greenways Manager to deliver the strategic objectives of the project

  • carry out effective communication with stakeholders in relation to the Connswater Community Greenway and the potential wider network of EastSide Greenways

A Green Health Map for East Belfast is a new resource developed by Belfast Healthy Cities in partnership with EastSide Greenways and East Belfast Community Development Agency.

It brings together key messages linked to greening and health, and encourages people to use their local green spaces.

The Green Health Map supports individuals and communities to be:

• More informed on the health and wellbeing benefits of using green spaces.

• More informed on local green spaces and walking routes.

• Encouraged to walk to and use local green spaces.

We are seeking a number of passionate and experienced people to support our work as a leading regeneration charity!

With support from the Dormant Accounts Fund we have been undertaking a governance review to explore opportunities for sustainability and future direction of the organisation. As a result, we are now looking for new board members to support and guide EastSide Partnership on the next stage of our journey.

The refurbished Templemore Baths, which include a new visitor centre and state-of-the art leisure and spa facilities, will open to the public on Monday 19th June following a £17 million investment!

We are delighted that #EastSideTourism will be managing the visitor space which tells the story of the building’s heritage as public baths and swimming pool and look forward to animating the space through tours, workshops and events that will engage the local community, schools and visitors.

The Cost of Living Crisis is plunging families on low income into despair and the bills keep coming. The Scaffolding Project supports families to access new and preloved uniform and with your help we can make a difference where it really matters.

Having the right uniform removes barriers to participation at school. We want to ensure children supported by this campaign can fully engage with school activities without fear of 'standing out'.
