After the success of our last musical DVD resource, we commissioned Maria Connolly to write a new work featuring music from the 1960s and 1970s and so, ‘I Got You Dolly, Love Cher’ was born.

‘I Got You Dolly, Love Cher’ is an entertaining musical comedy featuring some of Dolly and Cher’s greatest hits. This show will warm your heart, make you smile and have you dancing and singing along from your sofa.

We have also been uploading lots of our recent online event recordings to the channel and these range from the series of EastSide Greenways webinars to events that took place during C.S. Lewis Festival.

Our theme this year is connection and we are very much looking forward to connecting with you at a number of in-person and online events in August (in line with government guidance).

On what would have been local actor, director, writer, son of east Belfast James Ellis’ 90th birthday today, we are delighted to share this video of messages from some of James’ family and friends who describe his impact and legacy. Featuring some of his children and grandchildren, actor #JamesNesbitt and the Lord Mayor of Belfast Frank McCoubrey, the video shares special memories and stories of his life.

EastSide Arts Festival, Belfast International Arts Festival, Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival and Féile an Phobail Festival would like to appoint a company or individual to undertake a fully-costed feasibility study to ascertain how we might work in partnership to create a Festivals Apprenticeship Scheme in 2021/22.

To mark Women’s History Month throughout March, EastSide Partnership has announced a series of free virtual talks exploring the lives of extraordinary women from and beyond east Belfast and the historical events that shaped them.

EastSide Arts, supported by Arts Council of Northern Ireland, is delighted to announce Christina Collins as the winner of the inaugural C.S. Lewis Writer’s Bursary.

The bursary, which celebrates the legacy of C.S. Lewis, will provide Christina with an opportunity to develop a new piece of written work. Christina, who has Irish/Armenian heritage, immigrated to NI from America in 2015. She will use the bursary as an opportunity to work on a new young-adult novel, partly inspired by her own experience of emigrating to Northern Ireland.

EastSide Partnership is set to celebrate east Belfast’s rich history with the development of the Newtownards Road Heritage Trail. The trail will celebrate the industrial, social, cultural, religious and political heritage of the Newtownards Road from Holywood Arches to Bridge End.
