The property offers a casual yet modern dining experience within repurposed shipping containers, overlooking C.S. Lewis Square at the heart of the Connswater Community and Comber Greenways. It is fully fitted for restaurant use including a range of high specification cooking equipment, excellent lighting, large floor to ceiling height glazed windows, wooden flooring, disabled toilet and outdoor seating.

EastSide Greenways have launched a brand-new Personal Youth Development programme, called ‘The Legacy Project’. This exciting project is designed for a small group of young people from East Belfast, aged between 16-25years old who are not in education or unemployment.

Their aim is to help build and develop essential life skills, provide support with achieving qualifications & training, and open the doors to exciting employment opportunities!

George Best, arguably the greatest- ever footballer, thrilled the world with his wonderful football skills. George was born and bred in east Belfast and after his move to Manchester United, and elsewhere across the world, he always returned to his home at 16 Burren Way, Cregagh.
 
During these special tours actors, Stephen Beggs and Neil Heaney, will play George at various times of his life, all within the unique venue of George’s 1960s retro-refurbed childhood home. 
 

Step inside the family home of footballing superstar George Best, as it would’ve been in the summer of 1961 when a fifteen-year-old George left to follow his dreams in Manchester. Enjoy flicking through old school reports with an experienced local guide to discover more about Best's early life in east Belfast’s Cregagh Estate. The EastSide of the City is getting ready to celebrate the creativity and imagination of one of its literary greats – C.S. Lewis. From 18th – 20th November, EastSide Partnership will present the 10th C.S. Lewis Festival. Everyone is invited to step through the wardrobe door to explore their creativity and imagination and find out more about C.S. Lewis’ strong connections to his childhood home of east Belfast.

Save the Date for the 10th C.S. Lewis Festival will take place from 18th -20th November and will have a family focus featuring lots of fun events and creative experiences.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Youth Project Coordinator.

The Youth Project Coordinator will plan, coordinate and deliver the EastSide Greenways Personal Youth Development Programme (PYDP; a personal development, skills development and employability programme. 

The role will also support engagement with youth related organisations in east Belfast.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Living Wage Awareness Event at East Belfast Network Centre on 22nd September.
 
It was great to hear from the Living Wage Foundation on the accreditation process and local Living Wage accredited employers from the community, private and public sector about the benefits, for employers and employees, of paying the real living wage.

EastSide Partnership requires the services of an experienced financial consultant to explore opportunities for future income generation to support the sustainability of the organisation.

We would like to assess potential opportunities for the EastSide Partnership group of companies to diversify income streams. This will involve analysing the activities of each company/ project and making recommendations on how revenue could be generated from those activities.
