EastSide Partnership- 25th Anniversary- Throwbacks- 1 of 25

Our first throwback is to June 2016 when we opened Bridges Family Practice, formerly Bryson Street Surgery. The GP surgery was in danger of being closed or relocated because it was in such a poor state. It underwent a major redevelopment to become a state of the art facility thanks to £1 million funding secured by EastSide Property (part of EastSide Partnership) from The Northern Ireland Executive’s Social Investment Fund.

 

We are so pleased that this vital community asset was retained and is able to serve the local community. Fun fact: The artwork on the building is called ‘Starlings’ and was created by Deirdre Robb who was inspired by the starling murmuration, which can be seen over the Albertbridge.
