Stuart Douglas
Stuart joined the organisation as EastSide Learning manager in October 2024. Stuart is dedicated to community development, focusing on increasing shared understanding and learning that is fully inclusive, in east Belfast.
Stuart's passion and experience working with young people in east Belfast has reinforced the importance of supporting all children and young people in their home, school, and community settings.
He holds a BA in Criminology from Queen's University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Youth and Community Work from the University of Ulster, and a Level 4 Diploma in Restorative Practice. With practical experience as a Youth Worker for WPCA on the Woodstock Road and as a Restorative Practitioner for East Belfast Alternatives.
Stuart believes that collaborative working and partnerships yield the best outcomes for children and young people.
