Karson Brown

Karson joined the EastSide Greenways team as Volunteer Engagement Coordinator in February 2026. 

Previous to joining, he worked extensively in east Belfast, being at the forefront of the resurgence of the hospitality sector in the area, which has allowed him to work closely with the local community. This has instilled a great passion in the regeneration of east Belfast, particularly as it pertains to the green and blue spaces that are so vital to the health and happiness of the people living here. 

Karson has a background in writing and performing poetry, and he is particularly interested in literature as a means of empowerment within under-represented communities.
