Photography Workshops with Neal Campbell

Neal Campbell is a professional photographer based in East Belfast.  Neal and his wife Kristi run Campbell Photography (www.campbellphotography.co.uk), a successful documentary wedding and event photography business.  

Neal is also an experienced fine art photographer, specialising in street and social documentary photography.  In his fine art practice, Neal primarily uses film cameras and is passionate about keeping traditional film photography skills alive. He develops his film and prints his work in his darkroom at Vault Artist Studios.

This 6 week workshop programme is for beginners and people with an amateur interest in digital photography and will look at; fundamentals of photography, simple photo editing, film photography, dark room work and creative technique. The workshops begin on Tuesday 7th May and run for six consecutive weeks until Tuesday 4th June.

Workshop Requirements:  To get the most from this course, it would be helpful if participants have access to a DSLR camera, or a digital camera that allows manual control of settings.  Neal may be able to accommodate a small number of participants who do not have access to suitable equipment, but would need advance notice.  Film photography equipment will be provided by Neal for weeks 4 and 5.  The main location will be Neal's studio on the 2nd floor of Vault Artist Studios.
