Home Project Artist Applications

Home Project is an arts project which has been running since 2016 and provides the opportunity for emerging artists to work interculturally with both EastSide Arts and Terra Nova Productions.

Opportunity for Artists:

You will: be matched with a community group in East Belfast and will be supported to create an art work inspired by your community engagement around this year’s theme: ‘Belonging’. You will need to demonstrate an interest in intercultural work and in using the arts to engage with the wider community.

You will receive training, 1-2-1 mentoring and access to space.  You will be paid to undertake three sessions with a local community group and will receive a limited sum towards the creation of your community-inspired intercultural work of art.

We particularly welcome applications from immigrant artists.  You will need a sufficient command of English to interact dynamically with your community group.

Applicants MUST be available for the following dates;

  • Saturday 2nd November 2019 10am-5pm
  • Saturday 18th January 2020 10am-5pm
  • Mentorship dates are; Saturday 11th January/Saturday 25th January/Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th February
