EastSide Lives Trail and Exhibition

Researched and created by local people over the course of a year, EastSide Lives is a self-guided trail that celebrates the mill workers, shopkeepers, community workers, delivery drivers and even kindly criminal godfathers from east Belfast's past. Pick up a trail guide from EastSide Visitor Centre or Download Here. To hear our researchers in their own words, there is an audio guide available.

What you will see...

Artwork representing the people featured on our trail at significant sites relating to their stories. This is a chance to get to the heart of east Belfast, from the gates of Harland and Wolff to iconic church buildings and mills and to catch a glimpse of how people used to live.
