EastSide Arts Festival 2020
This year’s EastSide Arts Festival will take place from 6th - 16th August and the theme this year is ‘Moments of Joy’.
The EastSide Arts team are working hard to bring you a programme of fun, creative, interesting, and uplifting events and will announce the full programme in early July.
This is a year like no other and like all our friends and partners we will be putting your health and your safety above everything else in these difficult times.
For this reason, most of our festival events this year will be productions that you can enjoy on-line. There will be the usual assortment of events that celebrate the people, places and spaces of east Belfast for everyone to participate in, but this year we will be finding new ways of allowing you to enjoy many of these safely at home.
We will keep a close eye on government guidelines and adapt accordingly. EastSide Arts is a year-round programme and we will be back with public events just as soon as it is safe to do so.
In the meantime, we continue to work very closely with artists, performers and venues in the east in expectation of the better days that are sure to come when we will all be together again.
