DEARA Minister Andrew Muir visits Connswater Community Greenway

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting Minister Andrew Muir in Orangefield Park to discuss the positive impact the environmental improvements Connswater Community Greenway has delivered in east Belfast and its alignment to the Environmental Improvement Plan for Northern Ireland.
This included the flood alleviation scheme, urban greening, active travel, nature based solutions for climate resilience and community engagement in climate action.
We shared our exciting climate action plans for the future and our ongoing commitment to the local environment in east Belfast.
