C.S. Lewis Writer's Bursary 2021

EastSide Arts, supported by Arts Council of Northern Ireland, is delighted to invite applications for a new bursary award celebrating the legacy of C.S. Lewis.

Using C.S. Lewis as our inspiration, we ask, what is it like to arrive here in Northern Ireland from somewhere else? Where are the footholds and the touch-points to connect with Northern Ireland? What is it like call NI home if you have joint heritage?  

Who can apply?

The award will be made to an individual writer, in any genre of writing, from our diverse communities (ethnic minority, migrant or Irish Traveller communities for example), currently living in Northern Ireland.

• Application deadline 5pm on Friday 11 December 2020
• Bursary award winner announced Thursday 14 January 2021
