Appointment of Assistant Chief Executives

Chris Armstrong, manager of EastSide Tourism and Michele Bryans, manager of EastSide Greenways were appointed as Assistant Chief Executives at EastSide Partnership earlier this year.

Chris and Michele took up their additional roles within the organisation in September and will be supporting Chief Executive, Maurice Kinkead with the future strategic development of EastSide Partnership.

Michele Bryans joined EastSide Partnership in 2015. Alongside her new role as Assistant Chief Executive she is also the manager of EastSide Greenways and is responsible for the strategic direction of the Connswater Community Greenway and the EastSide Greenways concept plan. Michele is passionate about social regeneration and the positive impact of connecting people and place in order to sustain healthy and resilient communities.

Michele Bryans said: “EastSide Partnership is an ambitious organisation with exciting plans for the future. I look forward to contributing to the strategic direction of the organisation in my new role and will continue to engage with local people and stakeholders to ensure our work fosters positive change in east Belfast”.

Chris Armstrong joined EastSide Partnership in 2016. Alongside his new role as Assistant Chief Executive he is also manager of EastSide Tourism and is responsible for the strategic development of tourism in east Belfast. Chris is committed to putting east Belfast ‘on the map’ as an exciting place to live, work and visit.

Chris Armstrong said: “I am delighted with my appointment as Assistant Chief Executive alongside my colleague Michele.
